May 14: Exterior brick work in full swing

Construction of the Center for Changing Lives is currently on schedule. The site is south of 24th Street, west of Park Avenue, and east of Oakland Avenue in south Minneapolis. The latest status report is below.

Completed:

  • Excavation
  • Footings and foundation walls
  • Precast (garage columns and ceiling)
  • Steel structure

In progress:

  • Exterior wall framing
  • Exterior sheathing
  • Air moisture barrier
  • Roofing
  • Brick laying

Future milestones:

  • Weather-tight roofing (June)
  • Interior drywall (July)
  • Landscaping (August)
  • Park Avenue Apartments complete (September)
  • Center for Changing Lives service center complete (November)
